Start the holiday season with a breath-taking view of 800 luminaries lighting downtown St. Joe at The Luminary Festival presented by AEP Cook Nuclear Plant.  Pick up holiday decorations, greeting cards and one-of-a-kind creations by local artists at The Mistletoe Market—a great way to give back to your community and get holiday shopping finished!

Expect parades to fill the streets of Southwest Michigan during the month of December. The Watervliet Santa Parade kicks off on Tuesday, December 1st followed by the Reindog Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 5th. Bring the entire family to join Santa Claus at the Holiday Open House at Round Barn Winery. Taste the first wine from the 2009 harvest and grab last –minute holiday gift baskets.

Rounding out the month of December, enjoy a holiday classic at The Saugatuck Women’s Club as they host Charles Dickens family favorite, A Christmas Carol.
